The Chinese Performing Arts Society of Canada has sponsored dance performances, cultural exchanges, costumes and scholarships in the past. Our mission is to support dancers. Our 2012 fundraiser is via a raffle ticket sale. With your help we will be able to sponsor dancers to perform both locally and out of town or abroad. We appreciated your support!

The draw was done on March 4th, 2012, 7:00pm at Colours of Dance Academy, 1018 - 2560 Shell Road, Richmond, BC.

The Chinese Performing Arts Society of Canada (CPASOC)’s fundamental purpose are:

• To preserve Chinese dance by sponsoring Chinese dancers and performing groups in Canada and North America
• To promote Chinese dance by:
  • sponsoring Chinese dancers to come to Canada to teach and adjudicate;
  • encourage cultural exchange between Canada and China;
  • staging performances or competitions of various forms of Chinese dance;
• To enhance Chinese dance by seeking specialized talents in Canada or China to choreograph high quality dances for dancers in Canada.
